"Alerts are quick, but delays get annoying"
The push alerts usually come through fast, which is great. Every now and then they lag a bit though, and I get impatient waiting when I expect them right away.

"Reporting feels a bit clunky"
The analytics lag a lot. Not always, but enough to notice. Reports are confusing too. Hard to find what I need. Just feels a little clunky overall.

"Tough to get the hang of for simple tasks"
I had a frustrating time trying to use braze for basic things. The menus didn’t feel very intuitive to me, and I found myself bouncing around the platform just to figure out where something was. If you’re new to it, I’d definitely recommend asking someone experienced to walk you through the main areas first instead of trying to learn it completely on your own.

It might get better if you’re in there every day, but as an occasional user, it felt like a lot of extra effort. I kept needing help from teammates, and the documentation didn’t always clear things up. My advice would be to set aside some training time before relying on it for anything time-sensitive.

It does make automation easier once everything is running, but setting up campaigns can feel more confusing than it probably needs to be. I kept feeling like the process could’ve been a bit cleaner...

"Decent in parts, but I don’t fully trust it now"
There are definitely some good, flexible parts to it, and when it works smoothly it’s useful. But it can get fiddly and confusing at times, which is frustrating. After running into that more than once, I’ve kind of lost trust in it and don’t feel like I can just rely on it without double-checking everything

"Braze docs are surprisingly easy to work with"
I’ve been in the Braze docs a lot recently, they’ve been easy to use. Most of the time I can find what I’m looking for without clicking around for ages, which is more than I can say for a lot of SaaS docs I’ve dealt with. The examples are especially helpful when I’m setting things up. There are still moments where I get a little lost, but that’s probably partly on me for skimming too fast. Overall, they’re clear and actually useful.

"Pretty smooth start, just a few little hiccups"
Overall the onboarding went well and our CSM was really helpful with explaining everything, but the setup docs felt a little all over the place at times and it took us longer than we thought it would, but we did eventually get everything sorted and up and running.

"Good when it works, but reliability matters"
It works fine most of the time, but lately there have been too many random outages and the dashboards have been really slow. I get that tech issues happen, but when people are depending on a service to do their work, it feels only fair to keep it stable and communicate clearly when things go wrong

"Support feels a bit questionable"
braze itself has been fine overall, but dealing with support has been frustrating. The replies take forever, and when they do respond, it’s often just a link to docs I already checked. I had to follow up on the same ticket twice, which made me wonder if anyone was actually looking into it or just pushing it along. It’s not a terrible platform, but the support side definitely needs work.

I’d say braze SMS has been decent for basic campaigns, and getting it set up wasn’t too difficult. The reporting is fine for the most part, but when messages fail, figuring out what went wrong can be a bit confusing. I also kind of wish the templates were easier to organize and manage. It’s not bad overall, just… some parts feel a little clunky sometimes.

We mostly use Braze for A/B testing emails and push notifications, and it’s been useful for that. The results are clear enough to read, and it helps us make decisions quickly. The setup did take us a while, though, but maybe that was partly me overthinking it or missing things. Some options feel a little buried in the menus, which can be frustrating at first. Overall, it’s been solid once we got used to it.

"I started using this API thinking it..."
I started using this API thinking it would be a quick setup, and to be fair, the basic stuff does work. But once I got deeper into it, things got frustrating fast. I’d be cruising along, then suddenly hit a vague error that didn’t really tell me what went wrong. A couple times, the rate limits seemed to kick in out of nowhere, which sent me back into debugging mode. The docs helped here and there, but not enough to keep me from losing chunks of time trying to figure things out. So yeah, it does the job, but it definitely gives me a few headaches along the way.

"Not gonna lie, it’s way too slow"
Not gonna lie, using Braze can be frustrating some days. Pages take forever to load, reports will freeze up, and just clicking around the dashboard feels laggy. It makes basic tasks take way longer than they should, which is annoying when you’re just trying to get things done quickly.

"It was fine for us early on..."
It was fine for us early on, but as the team got bigger it started getting messy. Things just don’t scale as smoothly as I expected, and we’ve had to spend extra time untangling stuff that should’ve been simple. Not a total dealbreaker, but defintely frustrating.

Braze has been solid for sending messages across different channels, especially email and push. Once it’s running, it does the job well enough. That said, getting everything set up took longer than I expected, and the reporting can be a bit confusing to figure out. It’s not a bad tool by any means, but it’s not exactly effortless either.

Customer success took a few days to get back to us, and when they did, it was mostly just links to docs. We did eventually get everything set up, but it really felt like we were figuring most of it out on our own.

"At first I was a bit confused..."
At first I was a bit confused and had to kind of poke around to figure things out, but after using it a little more it started to click. It’s one of those things where the first few tries feel slow, then suddenly you’re like, okay, I get it now. Definitely gets easier with practice

"lots of useful features once you get the hang of it"
braze has a lot more going on than i expected, like journeys, testing, segments, and a bunch of other tools. it took me a little while to figure out where everything was, but once i got used to it, it felt solid for managing campaigns with more control.

"Works fine, but the Price is a lot"
It does what it’s supposed to do, so I can’t really complain about that. But the cost starts adding up quickly. Unless you’re using pretty much Every feature, it’s kind of hard to feel like it’s worth the money.
